I Did Not Come From Biology. I Came From First Principles. My story is a bit different.

My name is Mansour Ansari. I am the founder of QuantumLaso, LLC, and the architect of QuantumCURE Pro™,  a quantum-enhanced drug discovery platform built from the ground up by a systems engineer who refused to accept that drug discovery had to remain slow, opaque, and prohibitively expensive.

My background is not pharma. It is not academia. It is three decades of building mission-critical systems where failure was not acceptable and performance was not optional. I pioneered live wireless video streaming technology exclusively for Gary England, a well-known household in Oklahoma and respected meteorologist and weather scientist, and later used by major television networks, local and nationwide, during some of the most dangerous tornado and severe weather events in American history, including the Moore and El Reno tornadoes that killed hundreds and left massive financial damages across miles of Oklahoma Land. When lives depend on your system, you learn to think very differently about reliability, signal integrity, and noise.

That mindset eventually found a new problem worth solving: cancer.

The Question That Changed Everything

After stepping away from my previous company, I had something rare. I retired and then uninterrupted time to think to become useful again. Drug Discovery science always intrigued me. I began studying computational drug discovery not as a user of existing tools, but as a builder asking uncomfortable questions.

The biggest questions in my mind:

Why does it take 10 to 15 years and over a billion dollars to move a drug from hypothesis to patient?
Why do most candidates fail so late, after so much has already been spent?
Why is serious chemical exploration still largely accessible only to organizations wealthy enough to afford six-figure software licenses?

The deeper I studied, the clearer one bottleneck became: early-stage exploration relies heavily on deterministic pseudo-random processes, limited exploration diversity, and almost no structural memory of how promising candidates were discovered.

That realization became the foundation of everything I have built.

What I Built — And Why It Is Different

QuantumCURE Pro™ is a cloud-native, quantum-enhanced drug discovery platform that treats quantum entropy not as a curiosity, but as a first-class experimental variable.

Most platforms rely exclusively on pseudo-random number generators (PRNGs),  deterministic algorithms that simulate randomness. They systematically explore chemical space in predictable patterns, often rediscovering similar candidates while missing entire regions of possibility space.

QuantumCURE Pro™ integrates true quantum entropy, harvested from physical quantum random number generators (QRNGs) and quantum annealers such as D-Wave systems, directly into molecular docking and simulation workflows. Quantum entropy introduces genuine non-deterministic variation into conformational sampling and search pathways, in turn enabling exploration patterns classical PRNG-only systems cannot reproduce by design.

The platform combines:

  • Cloud-orchestrated molecular docking at scale, modernized from industry-standard tools and engineered for production reliability

  • Optional entropy modes such as " PRNG, QRNG, and quantum annealer seeding",  allowing controlled comparison and reproducibility

  • Zaban™ Symbolic Framework, a proprietary encoding layer that transforms quantum collapse events into structured glyphs, creating a searchable fingerprint of how each candidate was discovered,  not just what was found

  • Entropic Path Density (EPD), a proprietary concept using Betti-number-weighted topological analysis to measure the geometric structure of annealer trajectory exploration, treating the path itself as analyzable data

  • Local Wet-List generation, enabling private, reproducible candidate selection with full intellectual property control

This system does not replace chemists. It protects their time — eliminating weaker candidates earlier, preserving meaningful signals, and making every downstream research dollar work harder.

Zaban™ — Reading the Handwriting of Reality

Perhaps the most distinctive element of my work is Zaban™, a symbolic linguistic framework I created to encode quantum collapse events into glyphs. The word Zaban means “language” in Persian, and that is precisely what this is: a language describing how quantum systems explore possibility space.

Using topological data analysis, I compute the Betti numbers of annealer trajectories,  connected components, loops, cycles, and higher-order structures that describe the geometry of exploration through state space. Different energy landscapes produce different topological signatures. Different signatures map to distinct glyphs. Sequences of glyphs form traceable discovery fingerprints.

This is not merely measuring randomness. It is measuring structural exploration geometry. It introduces a new concept: discovery provenance at the level of solution-space topology.

No other platform captures this dimension.

Validation

QuantumCURE Pro™ has been benchmarked against the DUD-E (Directory of Useful Decoys – Enhanced) dataset, a widely used standard in computational drug discovery for evaluating docking enrichment and candidate selection performance.

This platform is not theoretical. It produces measurable, reproducible results.

Every claim I make about this system can be demonstrated.

Why I Am Building This

I am 70 years old, retired and having a good time doing this project, alone.  Over the past three years, I have invested more than 4,000 hours of focused, independent development building this platform, largely alone, supported by modern AI tools for organization, planning and some coding, combinatorial, math, chemistry formulations, Skala Integration, Algebra topics, molecular physics and molecular docking guidance, cloud integration tips, chemistry and cheminformatics knowledge and documentation. I have all the help I need.

I am not building this to chase a trend or flip a company. I am building it because I believe this approach is technically sound. I believe cancer research deserves better exploration tools. And at this stage of my life, I want to build something with weight.

I also built this in memory of someone I loved and lost,  a beautiful Blue Russian cat who was present during much of this development, sitting next to me close to the keyboard and stirring at me. That may seem small to some. It is not small to me.

If one meaningful drug candidate ever emerges from this system,  traceable through Zaban glyphs to the quantum entropy event that made it visible,  that will be enough. That is the standard I hold myself to. That is the journey I am on.
